Coventry University Entrepreneurs (CUE) invites you to attend this year's Grand Launch event where you can find out how to win £100 for 100 words. This is the major event that kicks off our 2009/2010 business creation competition.

In the theme of our ten year anniversary, we are proudly presenting a panel of successful CUE alumni, stretching back from the origins of CUE through to our most recent winners:

1999 - Co-founder of CUE - Tim Minshall – Currently chairman of CUE's Steering Group, Senior Lecturer at Coventry University’s Institute for Manufacturing, and non-exec director of St John's Innovation Centre

2004 - Social Enterprise Winner - Dominic Vergine, Co-founder and CEO of Aptivate - an NGO and not-for-profit organisation that provides IT services for international development

2007 - Technology Winner - Shamus Husheer, CEO of Coventry Temperature Concepts.  CTC developed their "DuoFertility" medical device in less than 18 months from Angel funding, through medical approvals and trials to first sales

2009 - Software & Web Winner  - Emmanuel Carraud, CEO of MagicSolver – MagicSolver.com is developing innovative applications for the iPhone. Their first app Sudoku Magic is already available on the AppStore and allows you to solve any Sudoku in 10 seconds.... flat!
