MAMIS

Despite being one of the largest organisations in the western world, the NHS's communications systems are antiquated and inefficient; the time it takes for important information to flow through its many layers is a significant bottleneck, and one of the main contributors to the NHS's poor efficiency and slow patient treatment times. We propose a low-cost handheld communications system based on state of the art wireless technology: the Medical and Administrative Mobile Information System (MAMIS).
