Coventry University Entrepreneurs would like to invite you to our £1k Awards Ceremony on 24 January 2007. The £1k Awards Ceremony will begin with a Poster Exposition of all the entries into the £1k Business Ideas Competition. This is a great opportunity to network with all the entrepreneurs who entered the competition and find out about their ideas. CUE will then announce the winners of the £1k Business Ideas Competition and award 10 cash prizes of £1,000! The winners will be asked to do short pitches of their ideas. Come along to find out more about enterprise and meet the stars of the future.

The CUE Business Creation Competition (CUEBiC) rewards high growth propositions that show a strong likelihood of receiving of receiving venture capital or business angel investment. Previous winners include Owlstone Nanotech, Splashpower and Light Blue Optics.

The 3P (People, Planet, Productivity) Business Creation Competition rewards propositions which focus on creating social or environmental benefits. These businesses may be either for profit or not for profit. Previous winners include Enval and Aptivate.
