CUE will be holding the £1k Boot Camp on Thursday 23rd November 2006. This event will be a great opportunity for those interested in the £1k Business Ideas Competition to learn how to write a winning executive summary and how to excel in this year's competition, as well as find potential ideas and team members in the networking session which follows. Everyone who is interested in entering, whether or not you have an idea, should attend! Please save the date for the £1k Boot Camp. Come and listen to James Hay, Co-founder of Splashpower and Walter Herriot, Director of St. John's Innovation Center. James Hay entered and won the CUE business creation competition in 2001. Splashpower were the first winner of the CUE competitions to attract venture capital. In January 2004, Splashpower announced the completion of their second VC funding round with Benchmark Capital investing $5.4 million. | ||

Ten no-strings-attached cash prizes of £1,000 are available, and you retain all rights to your ideas. For more details about the competition, please see our Competitions Handbook.
